The TechPlus Conference & Expo which according to organizers is “Africa’s largest Tech gathering” begins in Lagos today having kicked off in Abuja on Tuesday. The conference which has been described as “where new technology comes to life, new products are launched and innovation converges”, will bring companies from around the world to showcase and learn how technology is evolving to meet the needs of a digital generation and modern businesses. It is a platform for knowledge sharing, networking and a market place for the African target market.
This year’s theme – An Intelligent Future: from connectivity to digital immersion, is expected to explore advancements in some of the major trends of the future Augmented Reality, Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Workforce Automation, and Digital Disruption.
Today’s line-up of sessions at the conference include; How to establish a Startup, The Future of Banking, Technology as Kiln of Industrialisation & Economic Transformation, and Smart Health: Integrating Technology for Improved Health Practices.
Tomorrow, Femi Williams is expected to lead a conversation on “A Trusted Future: Technology, Identity & Security”. Other sessions include; The Role of IT Leadership in Business Transformation, STEM: Scaling Women-Owned Tech Start Ups, and Tech Meets Agriculture.
On Saturday when the conference ends, attendees will be able to attend sessions on Achieving Market Leadership, Technology and the Future of Media, Parenting and Technology, Growth Hacking, and Money Matters: Parents, Planning and Technology.
